The U.S. Energy Association (USEA) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) have issued a series of webinar instalments for the Geothermal Industrial Park in October. The third instalment discussed the business opportunities presented by geothermal industrial parks and their potential in East Africa using lessons learned from Iceland.
Presenters Jón Örn Jónsson from Reykjavik Geothermal and Sigurður H. Markússon from the National Power Company of Iceland Landsvirkjun, present to us broader direct use opportunities for GIPs, including attracting tenants and increasing the competitiveness, attractiveness, and environmental image of firms in the East African region.
